Burnham-On-Sea man appears in court after burglary in town

A 39-year-old man appeared in court on Tuesday (October 31st) after Police charged him with a burglary in Burnham-On-Sea.

Adam Harding, of Rosewood Close, appeared before Taunton Magistrates Court after a burglary at a house in Hooper Close on Sunday (October 29th).

Chief Inspector Lisa Simpson said: "Burglary is a force priority and we always take reports seriously."

"I can’t stress enough how important it is for people to contact us if they are burgled, witness a burglary or even if they see anything suspicious in their neighbourhood."

"The public are our eyes and ears and play a vital role in helping us apprehend those involved in such criminality."

If you believe a burglary is in progress, call 999 immediately and if you want to report concerns about something which has already happened then call 101.
