Burnham and Highbridge Mayor's Cadet and Chaplain are announced

Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge's new Mayor Bill Hancock has announced his official cadet and chaplain this week.

Mayor's Cadet Rebecca Fear, 14, will accompany the Mayor at Civic events across the area. The St John Ambulance cadet said she's "delighted to have been chosen."

Mayor's Chaplain Rev Sharon Crossman is a familiar face to Highbridge churchgoers where she is vicar at St John Church. She said: "It's a great privilege to be invited to take on this role after my seven years in the town."

Cllr Bill Hancock was elected Burnham and Highbridge's new Mayor last month.
