lifeboats and Coastguards were called out late last night (Friday)
to perform a medical evacuation of a person from onboard a barge
near Hinkley Point.
Burnham's RNLI lifeboats were called out soon after 10.00pm after
reports that the man was unwell on a Fugro barge.

ashore to a waiting ambulance.
Officer Dave Welland told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We were tasked
to help with a medivac from a Hinkley Point barge after a man had
become unwell and needed assistance."

at Burnham where he was met by Coastguards and a waiting ambulance
for a precautionary check over."

walk up the jetty to the waiting ambulance where he was checked
over by paramedics.
