A new mental health drop-in centre has opened in Burnham-On-Sea, offering help and advice to local people with mental health conditions.
The new Mind Burnham and Highbridge Mental Health Drop-In Centre, at The Princess Theatre, opened on January 4th.
It acts as a source of information and guidance – including details about related groups, clubs and organisations in the Burnham-On-Sea area.
A team of support workers help to run the service and aim to offer a listening ear and support for people affected with mental health issues, says organiser Karen Davis.
The drop-in centre is open every Wednesday from 10am-12.30pm at The Princess Theatre in Princess Street, Burnham-On-Sea and is free to attend. For more information, visit here.
