Learning Trust to display plans for new school in Highbridge
for a new school near Highbridge, which would accommodate up to
420 pupils, are set to go on show in the town during July.
Learning Trust (WLT) has unveiled its proposals to establish the
Wessex Church of England Primary Academy to cater for children living
on the planned new housing developments at Brue Farm and Isleport.
state funded school will cater for children aged 4-11 and was part
of the original Brue Farm plans, featured by Burnham-On-Sea.com
plans are set to be submitted to the Department for Education (DfE)
in the autumn this year.
local people are being encouraged to have their say on the scheme
by attending an information event at Highbridge Community Hall in
Market Street on Wednesday July 12th from 3.30pm-6.30pm.

with its Axbridge and Weare Church of England First Schools and
the Hugh Sexey CofE Middle School. It aims to deliver 'high-quality
provision and leadership' supported by the Diocese of Bath and Wells.

up to two Reception classes of 30 children and a nursery, subject
