275 runners took part in a colourful fundraising run for charity on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Sunday (May 29th).

Organised by Burnham-On-Sea RNLI, the RNLI Rainbow Race was held next to the town's jetty and saw the participants jogging along the beach while being covered in clouds of dry paint!

Burnham Bootcamp held a warm-up at the start of the afternoon before the entrants started their colourful run.

Race organiser Lesley Ruth Hart said: "Burnham-On-Sea you were awesome! Thank you so much for all your support through entries and sponsorship. It's been a great day and the weather held out!"

"We rely on the support of the public to run the lifeboat station here and today's proceeds will help keep this station open."
