Hundreds of pounds were raised at a charity’s annual summer fayre in Burnham-On-Sea.

The Kathleen Chambers RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) home held its popular fayre last week when crowds of visitors flocked to the event to support it.

Activities included cake stalls, cream teas, refreshments, bric a brac, a bottle stall, tombola, face painting and balloon modelling. There was also entertainment and support from Moose International.

There was also a visit by Burnham’s Mayor Cllr Bill Hancock and Mayoress Cllr Frances Hancock, who met some of the residents and staff.

Cream teas were enjoyed by those present and there was even a visit by a giant kids character, as below!
