groups benefit from council's £6,000 grants handout
groups in Burnham-On-Sea and across the district are to benefit
from over £6,000 of grant funding, thanks to the latest round
of grants being given out by Sedgemoor District Council.
The council has this week announced that £1,300 will go to
Burnham-On-Sea's BOS Events to help fund a weekend event featuring
a Viking re-enactment group.
will take place on 12th and 13th August and will see historic battles
being recreated on the town's beach.
The council is also giving £500 to Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge
Choral Society to support their 2017 Spring Concert.

Also, £250 to South Somerset Mind who have clients across
Sedgemoor including the Burnham-On-Sea area. The funding will be
used to send support workers to clients to undertake home visits
or a one to one basis.
