Hundreds of pounds were raised when Highbridge Social Club held a special charity night on Saturday, with funds helping a cancer support charity.

The club in Church Street was raising funds for Cancer Research UK with a day of activities for children and families.

There was nail painting, fake tattoos, a fancy dress competition, fun games, a quiz, sponsored hair dye, raffle, refreshments, horse racing and more.

One of the organisers, Tiff Smith, said: “Thank you everyone that came and supported a good cause at the Highbridge Social Club for Cancer Research. We raised over £700 and have more money to come in!”
