Fundraising for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) continues apace at a Burnham-On-Sea opticians store which organised a special guest this week.

Visitors to Specsavers on the High Street were greeted by a life-sized Sooty – a long-standing mascot for the RNIB – who entertained younger customers on Tuesday (August 15th).

The team has been fundraising for the RNIB for the past few months in the lead-up to store director Rama Venkat getting his head shaved for the charity on Thursday 21st September.

If you would like to sponsor Rama, you can visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/rama-venkat or pop into the store at 3 The High Street in Burnham-On-Sea.
