Burnham-On-Sea's St Joseph's School heads to town beach for treat

Pupils from Burnham-On-Sea's St Joseph's School enjoyed a summer treat with a trip the town's beach this week.

The school held its annual 'sandcastle fun day' to Burnham beach on Monday 10th July as the end of term approaches.

Head teacher Rhonda Williams told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The weather wasn't as sunny as it has been, however the children were undeterred by this and had a great time."

"There were a wide range of sand creations including turtles, volcanos, mermaids and even aliens!"

"The fun morning was finished off with a beach-themed lunch consisting of hot-dogs and ice cream in a cone for pudding. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for both staff and children."
