Burnham-On-Sea takes a battering during stormy high tide
seafront took a battering on Thursday (March 2nd) when a high tide
combined with strong onshore winds.

50mph gusts of wind sweeping in, The Environment Agency closed Burnham's
flood gates as a precaution at the jetty, Maddock's Slade and the
Sailing Club but there was fortunately no flooding.
