A visitor to Burnham-On-Sea has praised a group of teenagers who helped an elderly man after a fall in the town centre on Tuesday evening (October 3rd).

Morag Randall got in touch with Burnham-On-Sea.com after being so impressed by the friendly compassion shown by the four youngsters.

She told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “My parents and I were walking down the High Street towards The Railway to meet the rest of the family for a meal when just past Shoe Zone we came across four teenagers and a gentleman sitting on a bench.”

“He had clearly fallen over and had blood all over his face. We stopped and I was very impressed with the youngsters who wanted to call an ambulance but the gentleman was saying no, he just wanted to go home.”

“I stayed to help, but really I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the teenagers – their parents should be extremely proud of them.”
