The long-running Vale of Avalon Vintage Vehicle Road Run is held each June and saw dozens of classic vehicles arriving on Burnham seafront from Glastonbury.

A total of £1,850 was raised at this year’s event and the funds were presented to to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. Den Stickland, Alan Gloak and Den Stone are pictured handing the money to Edward Herbert, a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Musgrove.

“Many thanks to all who attended the road run and contributed so much. Plans are well underway for next year,” said a spokesperson.

The popular event, pictured here, showcased a wide range of vintage vehicles, from cars, lorries and bikes to military vehicles and emergency service cars, while rasing charity cash.
