Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre is to host a top quality ballet performance in October that brings to life the timeless story of Cinderella.
Award-winning group Ballet Cymru will present the show on Saturday 6th October at 7.30pm.
Ballet Cymru, nominated Best Independent Company at the Critics Circle UK National Dance Awards, will present a sparkling and refreshing ballet based on the eternal fairy tale.
The group prides itself on being different and Cinderella will be no exception, with a specially commissioned music score and creative circus elements, combined with the finest classical dance.
“Ballet Cymru worked with award-winning composer Jack White and Circus Company Citrus Arts to conjure a surprising world of wonder and magic,” a spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“The show brings to life this timeless story using the company’s unique blend of classical technique and storytelling.”
There will also be a free workshop at 5.30pm for dancers aged 11 and over who have a ticket for the performance. Places are very limited.
