Burnham-On-Sea Beer and Music Festival underway this weekend

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Beer and Music Festival is underway with a fantastic selection of brews and live music over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Now in its 8th year, the event is being hosted as usual by the Ritz Social Club in Burnham’s Victoria Street.

This year’s festival features a wide range of mainly local real ales including such gems as Old Appledore from Country Life brewery and Glastonbury Ales ‘Love Monkey’.

One brewery will win the 2018 ‘Best Beer of the Festival’ award as voted for by the festival’s visitors.

Beer tasting notes and voting cards will be handed out to everyone on arrival and discounted half-pint beer vouchers will be on sale.

Live music on the Ritz Stage this year features The Lemon Sharks and Chiller on Saturday night while Sunday night closes with Keith O’Connell and The Jury.

Monday afternoon will see the fabulous Rustique with a jam session not to be missed.

The Burnham Beer Festival opened on Friday 4th May and is open from mid-day all through the Bank Holiday weekend.

Live Music on the Ritz Stage starts at approximately 1pm every day and features a great line up of musicians and bands. Admission is free and all are welcome.
