Burnham-On-Sea beach has been named the best beach in Somerset in a online guide.
Burnham has topped a list of the top 10 beaches in Somerset, as selected by the users of the Beach Guide website.
The town’s beach beats Bossington, Killve, Brean, Sand Bay, Minehead, Weston, St Audries Bay, and Dunster.
The site says: “The current most popular beach in Somerset is Burnham-On-Sea.”
It adds that “Burnham-On-Sea is one of Somerset’s classic seaside resorts due to the exceptional stretch of beach complete with promenade lined with Victorian and Edwardian guest houses.”
