Burnham-On-Sea’s monthly farmers market returns to the town’s High Street today (Friday, March 30th) with a great line-up of stalls.

Stalls will be set-up in the town centre selling local produce including fruit, local meat, vegetables, cakes, cheese, pies, bakery items and milk from 9am-1pm.

A Somerset Farmers’ Markets spokesperson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have four exciting new producers joining Burnham Farmers’ Market, two old favourites returning and Burnham’s very own Rock Choir to add to the Bank Holiday vibe at the market.”

“Our new producers are bringing fantastically tasty Indian cooking sauces and more all the way from Devon, plus beautiful cakes, honey and other bee products and scrummy tarts and fruit pies.”

“The market also sees the return of ‘In Clover’ with their ever popular hardy perennials and the comeback of Humble Pies under new management with a fantastic range of savoury pies.”

“We also have all our regulars with everything else you will need for a feast this Easter from pork and beef to vegetables and cheese. Our bakers will have Easter specials and we might not have Easter eggs, but why not go for Scotch eggs instead!”

“The market is in Burnham High Street from 9am-1pm and the Rock Choir will be entertaining the market late morning.”
