Knoll Guides hold sleepover in Burnham-On-Sea Library
Knoll Guides spent a night in Burnham-On-Sea Library at the weekend
during a unique challenge.
South West has started a regional challenge called 'Night at the
Library' designed to encourage sharing the love of books and reading
to help girls discover the joys of their local library.
Saturday, 28 youngsters from Brent Knoll Guides took part in a sleepover
in Burnham-On-Sea library in Princess Street.
Guides were welcomed to Burnham library by staff members Lyn and
Karen, who had volunteered to stay with them overnight alongside
youngsters enjoyed a meal of fish and chips from the Battered Fryer
take- away on the library steps outside before they ventured inside.

evening and the sight of so many girls outside the library was a
bit of a surprise to many people driving and walking by. Little
did they know that this was just the start of our adventure."
