A Burnham-On-Sea charity set up in memory of Burnham teenager Charley Marks has received a financial boost.

In Charley’s Memory was set up after 18 year-old Charley took his own life in September 2014. The charity now supports and helps hundreds of young people and those affected by mental health.

A special service with a difference was recently held at Sedgemoor Crematorium during the Christmas holiday when bereaved families were invited.

During the evening two Somerset charities were presented with cheques from funds raised through a metal recycling scheme.

Both ‘Think Amy’ and ‘In Charley’s Memory’ were presented with cheques of over £3,000.
