woman jailed for three years after £70,000 fraud
Highbridge woman has been sentenced to three years in prison this
week after defrauding two companies out of almost £70,000.
Marie Ford, from Highbridge, was working as an accountant when she
embezzled the money, a court heard.
owners of two Somerset businesses, Auto Workshop and Brunel Metrology,
say their companies came close to going under after they were defrauded
out of the money.
