New cafe to open in place of former Burnham-On-Sea chip shop

-

A former Burnham-On-Sea fish and chip shop is set to be transformed into a new town centre coffee shop this Spring.

The ‘Inn Plaice’ fish and chip shop in Cross Street has been vacant since it closed two years ago and now the property has a new owner.

“I plan to open a quality coffee shop,” new owner Oktay Aka told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week.

“A full refurbishment of the premises is underway and we’ll be introducing a modern new appearance. It will specialise in really great coffee – we intend to open this Spring.”
