Burnham-On-Sea’s 70th Sailing Regatta is underway this weekend with races around Bridgwater Bay.

The event is being held over two weekends, with gig rowing and yacht races taking place in the estuary that are visible to seafront walkers, weather permitting.

The regatta action continued on Saturday with a yacht sailing race around the bay.

The final day of racing will be held today (Sunday) with a sailing race at 3.50pm to determine this year’s overall regatta winner, followed by the prizegiving. The opening two days were held last weekend.
