Launch
of new Garden World Pet Centre launch is postponed
Bosses
at Sanders Garden World, near Burnham-On-Sea, have postponed the
opening of their new Pet and Aquatic Centre until later in March.
The
centre was due to open on March 11th but has now been switched
to Saturday March 25th to allow additional building work to be
completed.
Director
Phil Hancock said: "Weve had lots of people coming
in and pre-ordering tropical fish and other pets, creating a greater
demand than we anticipated."
"We
decided to change the date of the official opening to allow for
extra building work to enable us to accommodate a greater variety
of fish on site."
"The
actual area devoted to pets and aquatics wont change, but
we will be able to stock a larger range of tropical fish, which
require greater insulation, hence the additional building work."
Pauline
Kidner, Founder of Secret World rescue centre in East Hunstpill,
will be opening the centre at 10am on the day alongside Weston
Mayor, Cllr Charles Heard.
To
avoid any disappointment, Sanders has also decided to hold an
Animal Care Day on March 11th when representatives from Secret
World and some of their animals will be attending.
