Cyclist
seriously injured after accident in Burnham-On-Sea

A
cyclist was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries following
a traffic accident in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday afternoon, May
13th.
Police
were called to Marine Drive, near the Lynton Road car park (pictured
above) at 12.56pm.
Paramedics
gave the man, who has not been named by police, emergency treatment
at the scene before taking him to hospital.
An
Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"One vehicle and a bicycle were involved in the accident.
A
male was injured and sustained serious head injuries and was taken
to Weston-super-Mare General Hospital."
The
spokesman added: "We would be interested in speaking to anyone
who saw what happened."
