Police officer suspended from driving after
Marine Drive accident

The
Burnham-On-Sea police officer who was involved in a dramatic accident
on Marine Drive, pictured above, has been suspended from driving
police vehicles.
Marine
Drive was closed for almost an hour on October 15th after the
patrol car crashed and flipped over near the town's Roman Catholic
Church.
Avon
and Somerset Constabulary spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"The officer has been suspended from driving police vehicles
pending a full investigation."
He
added: "The officer is not suspended from his job and is
still on duty in Burnham."
Police
are not commenting about the details of the incident.
