Burnham RAF Association's annual fundraising drive takes off

Volunteers from Burnham-On-Sea's branch of the Royal Air Forces Association have been out in force this week during their annual fundraising drive.

The event is held every August and this year's is special because of an important anniversary - it's the 65th anniversary of the Battle Of Britain.

A day-long sale of books, badges and airforce merchandise was held on The Esplanade throughout Sunday, with several hundreds of pounds being raised.

The group's Derek Chivers and Valerie Goodare, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com they had been delighted by the support and interest shown.
