NEW RELIEF LIFEBOAT ARRIVES

A NEW temporary lifeboat is in operation at Burnham-On-Sea RNLI this week after the station's normal boat, the Staines Whitfield, was taken away for a major technical refit. Full details

BURNHAM-On-Sea's RNLI lifeboat station has this week issued an appeal for more volunteers to come forward to join its shore crew. After training, volunteers can progress to lifeboat crew. Full details

RNLI IN COASTGUARD EXERCISE

Graham Wills has this week officially been appointed as Burnham-On-Sea Lifeboat Station's new Chairman, replacing Tony Winterburn who has stepped down.

Burnham-On-Sea's lifeboat crew joined other RNLI crews from around the Bristol Channel in taking part in a major helicopter training exercise on Sunday April 8th

STATION OPEN OVER EASTER

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's Supporters Group is holding a daily sale of souvenirs and collectables at the town's lifeboat station during the Easter period, when the station will also be open to the public. The sales will continue until mid-April. Full details here.

ENTHUSIASTS FLOCK TO MEETING

The room at Burnham's Community Centre was filled to overflowing as almost sixty RNLI enthusiasts attended an open meeting to hear more about the RNLI's fundraising work and watch film footage of its rescues. Full details here.

WINE TASTING IS A SUCCESS
