A NEW temporary lifeboat is in operation at Burnham-On-Sea RNLI this
week after the station's normal boat, the Staines Whitfield, was taken

for more volunteers to come forward to join its shore crew. After training,

IT'S all change at Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station this week after a
new Lifeboat Operations Manager took over the top job. Ricky Holmes

IN COASTGUARD EXERCISE

RNLI crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Minehead took part in a joint
exercise with Coastguards near Watchet when the lifeboats were tasked

services, including the RNLI, this week in a specially arranged visit

TRAINING FOR RNLI CREW

Burnham-On-Sea's
lifeboat crew joined other RNLI crews from around the Bristol Channel
in taking part in a major helicopter training exercise on Sunday April
8th.

OPEN OVER EASTER

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's Supporters Group is holding a daily sale of
souvenirs and collectables at the town's lifeboat station during the
Easter period, when the station will also be open to the public. The

FLOCK TO MEETING

The room at Burnham's Community Centre was filled to overflowing as
almost sixty RNLI enthusiasts attended an open meeting to hear more
about the RNLI's fundraising work and watch film footage of its rescues.

YEAR REVIEWED AT AGM

MORE than 40 crewmembers and supporters of Burnham-On-Sea RNLI gathered
in the town's Yacht Club on Friday evening (March 2nd) for the group's

TASTING IS A SUCCESS

A total of £230 was raised towards the Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Supporters
Group shop when a successful wine tasting event was held in Mark. Dozens
