NEW CHAIRMAN FOR TOWN RNLI

Graham Wills has this week officially been appointed as Burnham-On-Sea Lifeboat Station's new Chairman, replacing Tony Winterburn who has stepped down. Full details here.

HELI TRAINING FOR RNLI CREW

Burnham-On-Sea's lifeboat crew joined other RNLI crews from around the Bristol Channel in taking part in a major helicopter training exercise on Sunday April 8th. Full details here.

STATION OPEN OVER EASTER

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's Supporters Group is holding a daily sale of souvenirs and collectables at the town's lifeboat station during the Easter period, when the station will also be open to the public. The sales will continue until mid-April. Full details here.

ENTHUSIASTS FLOCK TO MEETING

The room at Burnham's Community Centre was filled to overflowing as almost sixty RNLI enthusiasts attended an open meeting to hear more about the RNLI's fundraising work and watch film footage of its rescues. Full details here.

BUSY YEAR REVIEWED AT AGM

WINE TASTING IS A SUCCESS

A total of £230 was raised towards the Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Supporters Group shop when a successful wine tasting event was held in Mark. Dozens flocked to the event. Full details here.

£1,000 RAISED BY CARAVAN CLUB

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI has received a donation of over £1,000 following a busy season of fundraising at a caravan park in the town. A cheque for £1,035 was handed over on Friday. Full details here.

KNITTED DONATION FOR SHOP

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's Supporters Group has thanked an anonymous donor for leaving a trio of knitted lifeboat crewmen at the shop, just as the facility closes. Full details here.

NEW D-CLASS LIFEBOAT ARRIVES

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's new D-class lifeboat arrived in the town on Monday (December 11th) when crew members had their first opportunity to venture out into the sea onboard. Full details here.

ARCTIC STAR FOR RNLI MAN
