Burnham-On-Sea charity auction set to raise funds for RNLI

A framed version of this photograph of Burnham-On-Sea's Staines Whitfield lifeboat venturing out into Bridgwater Bay during rough seas is one of the items that will be go under the hammer at a charity auction this coming weekend.

Burnham's Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street is holding the auction in aid of the RNLI on Saturday April 18th from 2-4pm.

The club will be opening its doors at 10am on Saturday to receive goods for the event and viewing is scheduled between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

Event organizer, and auctioneer of the day, Charlie Symes-Thompson said: "We are expecting some carnival memorabilia, as well as household items, so we urge people to come along and help us sell their goods, raising money for a valuable cause at the same time."
