Town's
lifeboat station opened up to visitors by RNLI Supporters Group

Members
of Burnham-On-Sea's Lifeboat Supporters Group were on hand to
open up the town's RNLI station to visitors over the Bank Holiday
weekend.
Enthusiastic
visitors to the station were able to talk about the lifeboats
and the sophisticated support equipment to a team of specially
trained supporters group members.
An
additional treat was the ability to visit Burnahm's recently-opened
RNLI shop and buy lifeboat souvenirs.
Supporters
Group volunteer Mary Summers said: "Visitors showed a great
deal of interest. The number of people we showed around varied,
but generally we were busy."
Our
photo shows Mary Summers with young visitors Matthew and Jordan
trying out a couple of RNLI dry-suits for size.
