Berrow
Brownies enjoy visit to Burnham's marine rescue services
A
group of 20 Berrow Brownies was given a tour of Burnham-On-Sea's
marine rescue services this week.
The
girls met Burnham Coastguards and crew members from the town's
RNLI and BARB services during a specially arranged visit on Monday
(September 24th).

Burnham
Coastguard Clive Saville demonstrated to the youngsters some of
the noisy ways of communicating to casualties!

Burnham
RNLI's Tony Dheal showed the group around the lifeboat station
and the girls got to clamber onboard the Puffin lifeboat and pull
on lifeboat clothes.

BARB's
Dave Bailey gave the group a close-up look at The Spirit Of Lelaina
hovercraft and told them about its most recent rescues.
