Motorists queue up for fundraising car washes at Burnham-On-Sea RNLI

More than £300 was raised for Burnham-On-Sea's RNLI on Saturday (February 1st) when dozens of motorists got their cars washed during a fundraising event.

Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat crewmembers in Pier Street took part in the RNLI's nationwide fundraising day, called SOS Day - or 'Soap Our Saloons' - as pictured here.

Burnham lifeboat operations manager Ricky Holmes told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Our crew worked very hard all the day and we saw a constant stream of cars. Many thanks go to everyone who supported us."

A second day of car washing will be held from 10am-2pm at the station on Saturday, February 14th.
