Local beavers group visits Burnham-On-Sea RNLI lifeboat station

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's lifeboats, the Staines Whitfield and Global Marine, were visited by Claverham, Cleve and Yatton Beavers group this week.

The enthusiastic group were given a tour of the station in Pier Street and got a chance to see the lifeboats, tractors and other machinery up close.

They also met crew members, listened to wide range of information about the life-saving work of the RNLI and stepped onboard the D-Class lifeboat.

The group enjoyed their visit and hope to return again in the future.
