David was shown around the station by Lifeboat Operations Manager Martin Cox and took the controls of the Staines Whitfield, Burnham’s lead lifeboat, with Helmsman Scott Rundle.

David said: "I was delighted to see the superb equipment and professionalism of the crew. All visitors to Burnham can be sure of a totally safe holiday with the tremendous backup from the RNLI volunteers."
