Burnham-On-Sea RNLI's fundraising group
opens its doors
 The
Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge fundraising branch of the RNLI is
to hold an open meeting next month aimed at those interested in
helping the group.
The
event will be held on Thursday March 8th at 7.30pm in the Burnham
Community Centre in Berrow Road.
The
fundraising branch has been operating in Burnham and Highbridge
for many years, and last year raised more than £11,000 from
collections and events and took more than £22,000 in souvenir
sales.

Pearce, treasurer of the group, said: "At this meeting, we
are offering films, talks and an opportunity to meet a crewmember
and we would be delighted for you to join us. Refreshments will
be served and perhaps you might enjoy the chance to become part
of this lifesaving team."
