New
Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station shop opens
After
a lengthy period of research, negotiation and planning, Burnham-On-Sea's
RNLI shop has re-opened in a log-cabin style building at the entrance
to the existing lifeboat station.
Burnham
RNLI Supporters Group Chairman Jendy Weekes said: "We have
worked very hard to ensure that the inside of the shop was ready
for the summer holidays. The exterior will be completed as, and
when, weather permits."
"It
is our intention to open the shop as much as possible during the
forthcoming weeks."
The
shop is extremely dependent on volunteers, so if anyone wishes
to help, they should pop into the shop or ring Jendy on 01278
641370.
