Bridgwater
school visits Burnham lifeboat station

Members
of Bridgwater's Penrose Special Needs School have enjoyed a visit
to Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station.
The
youngsters watched a video about the RNLI's life-saving work and
then met the station's volunteers to discuss the station's boats,
tractors and equipment.
The
visit was conducted as part of an ongoing school project about
emergency services.
The
picture shows members of Penrose special needs school, Bridgwater,
standing in front of Staines Whitfield, the Burnham number one
lifeboat.
An
RNLI spokesman said: "It is important for people to know
about the station, and one way to do this is by encouraging school
visits."
