Rescued windsurfer talks about Berrow incident
Two
Burnham-On-Sea lifeboats were launched on Saturday lunchtime (August
18th) after a windsurfer got into difficulty in mud at Berrow.
The
D-Class lifeboat 'Puffin' and Atlantic 75 lifeboat 'Staines Whitfield'
were called to the scene by Coastguards at 1.20pm, followed by
Burnham's hovercraft. A boom on one of the surfers' boards broke,
leaving the other man to try and tow the kit back to shore. Here,
windsurfer Stuart Biggs talks about the rescue.
