Also examined, and discussed, were the specialised lifeboat launch facilities and procedures in use at the station.
The 30-minute tour was preceded by the showing of a short video about the RNLI, and the picture above shows the scouts by the rear of the station's high-tech 'bendy' launch tractor with John Sampson, the Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Lifeboat Education and Visits Officer. II, were visited by Burnham and Highbridge Explorer scouts on Tuesday
March 15th as part of their study of local emergency services.
