RNLI gives sea safety advice to local angling group
Lifejacket
maintenance advice and sea safety tips have been given to members
of Burnham-On-Sea's Boat Owners Angling Association during a special
sea safety event by the town's RNLI.
Assistant
Sea Safety Officers Dave Humphrey and Nick Redding addressed the
latest regular meeting of the sea anglers group at Burnham Tennis
Club.
"During
the talk they discussed detailed lifejacket maintenance and re-enforced
basic sea safety rules. After
the talk, members gathered together in separate groups to ask
questions about the available advice, and to receive specially
prepared handouts," said a RNLI spokesman.
