Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Supporters Group launches
new shop appeal
A
new appeal fund has been launched this week to help raise cash
towards the cost of buying a new shop for Burnham-On-Sea RNLI
Supporters Group.
The
lease expired on the group's seafront shop (pictured on the right)
at the end of 2006 and since then the group has been searching
for a new location for its fundraising HQ.
The
appeal's first fundraising event is being organised by Mark Burgess,
landlord of the White Horse public house at Mark, who is organising
a special wine tasting evening on Monday 5th February from 7pm.
Those who go along will have a chance to sample Mark's new range
of fine wines and make donations towards the Burnham Supporters
Group Shop Appeal Fund. Tickets
are available now on 01278 641234.
Further
details will be announced about the appeal during the next fortnight.
