Burnham-On-Sea
lifeboat shop appeals for volunteers
to come forward
Burnham-On-Sea
RNLI has made an urgent plea for more volunteers to come forward
to help run its seafront store.
Volunteers
are desperately needed to maintain the shop, which is located
on The Esplanade near the town's jetty.

Coordinator Jendy Weekes said: "Interested applicants should
either call into the shop or ring us on 01278 784213."
"The
shop is open between 10am and 4pm on most days, and occasionally
at other times when required."
"The
RNLI Supporters Group which runs the shop and mans the lifeboat
station during open days are a friendly, happy group and would
welcome any support given."
