The group, which also included pre-school assistants and parents, were able to look at the lifeboats and tractors and wear some of the safety gear, including life-jackets and helmets. Members of the lifeboat crew were on hand to help, and the young visitors, who were all aged between three and four, were delighted to receive RNLI stickers and colouring posters. Burnham-On-Sea Lifeboat Station Chairman Tony Winterburn handed a photo of Burnham's main lifeboat, The Staines Whitfield, to the party along with promotional material about the RNLI's upcoming 'All Soles Day' fund-raising event on June 8th.
