Special
tree weekend pulls in the crowds at Sanders Garden World
Hundreds
of people attended a Tree Weekend at Sanders Garden World, near
Burnham-On-Sea, on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November.
During
the free event, which tied in with National Tree Week, experts
were on hand to answer tree-related questions.
A
wood turner held demonstrations and a tree surgeon provided an
insight into his work.
Representatives
from Bristol-based charity Tree Aid also attended and the garden
centre donated £180 to the organisation from the sale of
saplings.
Sanders
Garden World Managing Director Peter Burks said: "The weekend
was a great success. Everyone who came along enjoyed themselves
and had the chance to get tips from our tree experts."
