A motorist suffered leg and head injuries after crashing into a telegraph pole near Burnham-On-Sea this morning (Thursday, October 29th).

Police and ambulance crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to the A38 outside Biddisham at around 7.40am.

Police spokeswoman Claire Stanley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “At around 7.42am a vehicle collided with a telegraph pole on the A38.”

“At 8.42am a temporary closure of the A38 was enforced due to damage to a power cable.”

“One man received injuries to his leg and head although these are not thought to be life threatening.”
