Parts of Somerset saw delays to recycling collections on Tuesday – and are urged to leave their boxes out today, Wednesday.
Somerset Council said there “has been disruption for some recycling collections”.
Crews may be unable to reach everyone in and around Burnham-On-Sea, Highbridge, Wincanton, and Templecombe.
“Crews will be returning on Wednesday to areas missed,” a spokesperson said. “Please leave your boxes, bag and bins out for crews to return.”
If your collection has been missed, you can check and report it online at www.somerset.gov.uk/missed-collection.
“Don’t forget that collections are a day later all week following the Easter bank holiday,” the spokesperson added.
