Air ambulances landed in Burnham and Highbridge three times over Easter weekend

Air ambulances landed three times in Burnham and Highbridge over the Easter weekend during separate medical emergencies.

The yellow Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance landed at the BASC Ground on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon, pictured here, to assist a patient during a medical incident at a local holiday park.

The green Great Western ambulance landed on the Cassis Close playing fields on Saturday around 10.45am to assist a patient at a property in Highbridge Road.

And the yellow Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance also landed in Highbridge at the Rec playing fields around 3pm to help a patient in a nearby home.

Paramedics onboard assisted land ambulance crews with the patients in each case.
