A popular annual Plant, Craft and Coffee Morning will return to Mark Village Hall this May Day Bank Holiday Monday, raising funds once again for Cancer Research UK.
The long‑running community event, now in its 11th year, has raised an average of £1,000 annually and continues to draw strong support from local residents. This year’s fundraiser will take place on Monday 4th May 2026, running from 10am to 12 noon at Mark Village Hall (TA9 4NY).

Visitors will be able to browse a wide range of plants, homemade cakes, crafts, jigsaws and books, along with a raffle and refreshments. Live music will be provided by RJP Folk, adding to the friendly atmosphere the event is known for.
Entry is £2.50, which includes coffee or tea and a slice of cake. Organisers say donations of cakes for the cake stall are very welcome. All proceeds from the morning will go directly to Cancer Research UK, continuing more than a decade of local fundraising efforts.
