Over 110 runners of all ages took part in Burnham-On-Sea’s autumn aquathlon on Sunday (October 11th).
The adults competed in a 750m swim at Burnham Swim and Sports Academy followed by a 7.5km run along the seafront.
Children took part in ‘splash and dash’ races at Burnham’s pool and on the town’s beach, watched by crowds of spectators.
Organiser Martin Rogers, from Burnham Swim and Sports Academy, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The event was a great success, with a good turnout of athletes and some ideal running weather.”
